Cairo - MENA
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq el Molla confirmed that butane gas production and prices are "stable" in the Egyptian market after taking needed measures to increase output.
The measures were taken to avoid overcrowding in butane gas cylinders stores. Such measures resulted in keeping prices stable, increasing storage capacities and upgrading ports that receive butane gas shipments in addition to establishing new ones.
According to Molla, there is coordination with the Ministry of Supply to intensify campaigns monitoring butane gas cylinders outlets.
The minister's remarks were made on the sidelines of a meeting of the general assembly of Petrogas and Cairo Oil Refining Co.
