Kuwaiti Minister Finance Anas Al-Saleh has called for mobilizing Arab Gulf potential and efforts to build a strong economic bloc that could compete with other international blocs. "Despite the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s great achievements over the past 30 years, we are optimistically looking forward for more," Al-Saleh said during the 98th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee held here Wednesday. He urged all GCC states to unify their stances regarding the global economic developments as well as to remove obstacles impeding full economic integration. "This meeting severs as a platform to discuss and materialize the aspired cooperation goals," the minister said. He underlined the need for setting up a judicial body for examining economic and trade disputes. The conferees will tackle a number of key topics such as deepening economic integration among member states to implement the resolutions of last GCC Summit, he said. They will also discuss speeding up the efforts aiming to put into effect the GCC customs union and to create GCC common market
