Jordan has found JD330.5 million in budget surplus at the end of July compared with a deficit of JD280.5 million for same the same period in 2010, according to official figures. The data by the Ministry of Finance, issued Sunday, showed that public debt reached at the end of July JD11.881 billion up by JD418 million constituting 56.6 percent of Gross Domestic Product which is estimated at JD11.462 billion for 2011, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
