Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 4.54 points

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 4.54 points (-0.04%) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 10,451.47 points.Trading value during this week decreased by 11.77% to reach QR 1,090,164,554.08 compared to QR 1,235,639,035.58. 
Trading volume decreased by 4.33% to reach 38,784,571 shares, as against 40,538,645 shares, while the number of transactions fell by 7.08%, to reach 14,267 transactions as compared to 15,354 transactions. Market capitalization rose by 0.17% to reach QR 561,458,257,520.23 as compared to QR 560,511,866,541.04 at the end of previous week. 
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 41.29% of the total traded value. Real Estate sector accounted for 18.75%. Industries sector accounted for 12.11% and Telecoms sector accounted for 11.76%. Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 31.61% of the total traded volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 26.89%. Telecoms sector accounted for 26.61% and Industries sector accounted for 6.12%. 
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions this week accounted for 38.31% of the total number of transactions. Industries sector accounted for 18.95%. Real Estate sector accounted for 15.90% and Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 8.61%.
From the 44 listed companies 12 ended this week higher, while 31 fell and one unchanged. Masraf Al Rayan led trading value during this week accounted for 12.83% of the total traded value. QNB accounted for 11.04% and Vodafone Qatar accounted for 8.65%.
