OPEC daily basket price rose $1.09 last Friday and stood at $52.91 a barrel compared with $51.81 the previous day, the international organization said Monday. 
The average annual rate of the basket was $40.76 per barrel, it added. 
OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), Merey (Venezuela), Girassol (Angola), and Oriente (Ecuador).
