Egypt's bourse continued its upward trend as all indices were up at the close of Wednesday's trading backed by purchase operations by institutions and foreign investment funds.
The capital market gained about 6.2 billion pounds to reach 419.2 billion pounds after transactions hit about EGP 860.2 million.
The benchmark index EGX 30 was up by 2.03 percent to reach 8,364.98 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased 0.53 percent to 354.02 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index followed suit with 0.97 percent taking the index up to 806.74 points
