The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) made an upturn at the close of trading Tuesday backed by purchase operations by Egyptian and Arab investors.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up 0.05 percent to reach 5,896.56 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.97 percent to reach 355.41 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.67 percent to hit 709.74 points.
