Egypt's bourse indices recorded gains at the close of Thursday's trading, backed by purchases by institutions and foreign investment funds and sales by Arab and Egyptian investors.
The market capital gained about 4.7 billion pounds to reach 566.3 billion pounds amid transactions which hit about 1.4 billion pounds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by about 0.08 percent to 1,1326.03 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.24 percent to hit 451.71 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose as well by 0.14 percent to close at 1,064.36 points.
