Army market

The public service agency of the Armed Forces developed the services it offers to the public across the nation by doubling the quantities of commodities and products to meet the basic needs of citizens through state-owned shops.

The step comes within the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for reducing the food prices, confronting monopoly practices and dealing with price hikes.

The price of the commodities offered to citizens is cheaper between 10 and 25 percent than their counterparts in the private sector markets.

The agency opened new 16 mobile posts for selling goods at low prices in the streets of a number of governorates including Cairo, Giza and Alexandria.
