A ship coming from Ukraine arrived at Alexandria port on Saturday, carrying 45,000 tons of wheat on board.

The shipment was unloaded smoothly and samples were taken to be examined whether they are fit for human consumption or not, acting head of Alexandria Harbor Authority Fathi Taha said.

The latest technological methods are being used in linking between all Egyptian ports to facilitate measures for both exporters and importers, he added.

Meantime, light to medium-level rains continued to fall in Alexandria for the second day in a row since the early hours of the morning without disrupting the navigation movement, Taha added.
