LG Uplus Corp., South Korea's No. 3 mobile carrier, said Wednesday the company swung back to a net profit last year from a year earlier amid a rise in the number of long-term evolution (LTE) subscribers. Net profit came to 279 billion won (US$259 million) in 2013, a turnaround from a net loss of 59.6 billion won a year earlier, LG Uplus said in a regulatory filing.
