Seoul - Yonhap
South Korea's LG Display Inc. on Monday officially put into operation its liquid crystal display (LCD) plant in China that will supply panels to Chinese TV makers.
The plant's formal launch comes more than two years after the groundbreaking for LG Display China Co. in the southern city of Guangzhou in May 2012. LG Display, Guangzhou, and Chinese TV maker Skywork Group hold 70 percent, 20 percent, and 10 percent, respectively, of the joint venture.
