Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, said Wednesday its sales surged 19.7 percent in September from a year ago, mainly due to a sharp rise in demand for new vehicles.
The carmaker said it sold 231,902 cars overall last month, up from 193,809 vehicles sold a year earlier.
