Fiat\'s Italian new car sales in October dropped 10.3% to 34,051 vehicles, compared with 37,969 in the year-earlier month, as the pace of the contraction in sales slowed compared with earlier months. The data was released by Italy\'s Infrastructure and Transport Ministry. The October decline compares with 24.2% in September Last month, the carmaker controlled 29.1% of the Italian new car market, up from 28.5 in October 2012. Fiat had 30.3% of the market in September 2012.
