Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South Korea's leading power equipment maker, said Friday that it has clinched a 1.8 trillion won (US$1.63 billion) deal to build a coal-fired thermal power plant in Vietnam .
Under the deal signed with a consortium led by Korea Electric Power Corp., Doosan Heavy will build the coal-generated power plant with a 1,330-megawatt capacity in the Nghi Son economic zone in northern Vietnam .
