At a ceremony to celebrate it, Saide Hamoucha, managing director of Abunayyan-JCB business, said: “We have been working very hard over the past 16 months to get where we are today and to move forward with this exciting new partnership with JCB. We are proud that the showroom you are sitting in tonight is the biggest JCB showroom in the world.”
He added: “JCB as well as Abunayyan are family businesses with a lot of similarities when it comes to engagement, technology, innovation, customer care and service focus. It is obvious that we both share the same passions … This explains why we are here tonight.”
After six months of operations, he said, we managed to raise our market share from 2 to 10 percent, all segments combined. “JCB is more present and visible in the market for all products portfolio. We are closer to our customers with our active sale forces.”
ATC President and Group CEO Khalid Abunayyan thanked Ahmad Alrajhi, chairman of the board of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), and Anthony Bamford, chairman of JCB.
“Abunayyan Holding is a high performance-driven organization with a history of driving our different strategic business units toward market leadership and our aim is to extend this success to our newest strategic partnership with JCB. Our vision is to lead our industry and to position JCB among the top three in the Saudi construction machinery market in addition to delivering long-term sustainability,” said Abunayyan.
Anthony Bamford, JCB chairman, said: “Our achievements over the past 68 years have been considerable, but at JCB we always believe in looking ahead to the next development, the next level of success.”
He added: “JCB is continuing to innovate and push the boundaries in research and development, particularly in sustainability where energy costs and emissions are becoming an increasingly important purchasing consideration.”
After the speeches, guests were invited to tour the new headquarters. They also attended a workshop, where a short presentation on the company’s capabilities and products portfolio was delivered.
