Three Egyptian companies secured the first place in the Arab Quality Award offered by the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Mining, said Industry and Trade Minister Monier Fakhri Abdel Nour.
The companies are Sidi Krir Co. for Chemical Industries, Juhayna and Oriental Weavers, he said at a ceremony organized on the occasion of the World Standards Day.
The win testifies to the Egyptian industry' commitment to the international quality standards, he added.
