Representatives from about 100 Italy-based companies would visit Cairo in February to take part in a forum on investment, the Foreign Italian Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.
Also, Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda would make a trip to Egypt on February 22-24, the statement said.
The Italian minister along with the trade mission will explore new investment opportunities in the fields of mechanics, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
According to the mission's agenda, the Italian businessmen will hold series of meetings with their Egyptian counterparts to discuss possible channels of cooperation.
