Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced Wednesday receiving USD 2 million-worth of sophisticated equipment from the US government.
In a press statement, the ISF said that the equipment is a grant from the US to boost Lebanon's counter-terror capabilities, particularly in discovering explosives.
The equipment included three robots for the detection of suspicious objects, uniforms for explosives experts, water cannons to disable explosives, metal detectors, advanced X-ray devices, communication devices, different electric tools and equipment and other devices, it said.
