South Korea, China, Russia and Mongolia have agreed to upgrade the status of their regional cooperation body to an international organization, the finance ministry said Thursday.
On Wednesday, officials from the four countries held their 15th meeting on the Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) in Yanji, China, where they agreed to turn the group into an international organization, according to the ministry.
