Cairo - MENA
Transport Minister Saad el Gioushy on Friday signed a cooperation agreement with his Sierra Leone counterpart in the field of maritime and river transport and port service administration.
The meeting comes as part of Gioushi's current visit to London ahead of the election of the executive board of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Egypt is looking forward to winning the IMO's membership after its 2014-2015 bid has failed.
Since arriving in London on Tuesday, Gioushi held several meetings with European and African counterparts, as well as international figures.
