Police arrested three Thai men with counterfeit notes

A military officer was among three Thai men arrested in Cambodia for being in possession of more than 7 million dollars in counterfeit currency, a report said Saturday, according to dpa.
The arrests followed a month-long investigation by authorities in
north-western province of Battambang, The Cambodia Daily reported.
The haul was in denominations of 100 dollars, seized after a police
officer went undercover as a currency trader.
The report quoted a provincial police official as saying that one of
the suspects, 51-year-old Chamrat Vongsa, commands the Thai
military's Company 522, stationed along the Thai-Cambodia border.
