The 20TH St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) kicked off today, with the participation of a group of politicians and economists from around the world.
10 thousand people are expected to participate in this 3-day business event held under the slogan "on the threshold of a new economic reality."
Among the participants are Lebanon's Finance Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil, the Lebanese Ambassador to Moscow, Shawki Bou Nassar, and Director of the National News Agency, Laure Sleiman Saab.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to participate in one of the Forum's sessions tomorrow.
Also among the prominent participants are Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Venezuelan Oil Minister Aaolockheo del Pino, and Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai
