Global credit appraiser Standard & Poor's (S&P) said Friday that it has upgraded its long-term rating outlook on South Korea from "stable" to "positive," citing its "steady" economic performance.
"Korea's economic performance of recent years has been stronger than that of economies at similar income levels, which has augmented sovereign credit support," the agency said in a press release.
