Use of electricity by South Korea's industrial sector grew from a year earlier in June, largely on growing exports, the government said Sunday.
Electricity consumed by the country's industrial sector amounted to about 22.55 billion kilowatt-hours last month, up 2.1 percent from the same month last year, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
