Seoul - Yonhap
The South Korean economy expanded 0.4 percent in the fourth quarter, slowing from three months earlier, amid a fall in construction investment, central bank data showed Friday.
The country's fourth-quarter economic growth rate decelerated from a 0.9 percent on-quarter growth in the July-September period, growing at the slowest pace on a quarterly basis since a 0.4 percent on-quarter expansion in the third quarter of 2012, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK). The figures are seasonally adjusted.
