Sixth Global Webit

The sixth edition of the Global Webit Congress in Istanbul which finished Thursday saw attendees from various technology and media firms promote their innovations and provide investment opportunities for startups companies.
During the two-day Digital Marketing and Innovation Conference at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, attendees were able to participate in panels and presentations on topics ranging from digital commerce to entertainment and media. The event facilitated the connection of thousands of C-level global and regional advertisers, agencies, publishers, advertisers as well as marketing tech providers.
“We had an opportunity to talk to local business people, tycoons and start-up companies thanks to the congress,” Vipul Sharma, Sales Director at e-bee - India's multi-channel commerce solution provider company, told Anadolu Agency.
“People came from different regions like Dubai and Lebanon here. It was great that we are also here. It is our third time here. We want to keep coming to the congress,” said Naveen Haroon, event manager of IBM, who praised Turkey for its huge business potential.
Moreover, the leaders of the Future Tech Summit brought together the most influential founders and CEOs of the world's most innovative companies, along with top talents and over 400 investors.
Capital Talks and Future Trends, Money and Payments and Digital Entertainment and Media were some of topics on the panels on the first day. On the second day, there were presentations on Digital Commerce, Brand Social Strategies, Learning from Asia and also Capital Talks and Future Trends.    
A party sponsored by Fashion TV which was held on the man-made island of Suada on the first day of the congress drew the attention of the attendees.
