The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SCCI, has discussed ways to develop cooperation relations with Turkish Consulate General in Dubai, aiming at serving business community and creating initiatives that contribute to highlighting investment opportunities and working to increase the growing commercial movement between Sharjah and Turkey.
This came during a meeting between Khaled bin Butti Al Hajri, Director- General of the SCCI and Serdar Kumbaraci, Commercial Attache' at the Consulate, in the presence of Omar Ali Saleh, Director of international affairs at the chamber.
Al Hajri reviewed the current and future plans of the chamber and the institutions affiliated to it and their importance in serving local private sector and their contributions to the promotion of domestic exports to overseas markets, in addition to its efforts to support and encourage small and medium enterprise programmes.
The two sides stressed that the development of relations between the business sectors of both sides saw a growth over the past period and the two sides will seek to introduce and develop new initiatives and programmes in the coming period to meet the aspirations of the businessmen.
