Qatar Chamber hosted on Wednesday a trade mission from Kyrgyzstan to discuss how to strengthen economic relations, explore investment opportunities, and create business partnerships between Qatari businessmen and their Kyrgyz counterparts in various fields.
Qatar Chamber Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar said that Qatar and Kyrgyzstan enjoy good relations and they endeavor to take them to advanced levels, while referring to the first session of the "Kyrgyz-Qatari Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation", which was held in Doha last month.
Bin Twar said that Qatari legislatives and laws contributed to more attracting investment opportunities to Qatar, calling both countries' businessmen to benefit from the potentials each country enjoys.
Qatar Chamber welcomes both country's businessmen to enhance cooperation relations across all economic sectors. The door is open for Kyrgyz companies to increase their presence in the Qatari market and to build partnerships with their Qatar counterparts, he added.
He was addressing the Qatari-Kyrgyz Business Forum hosted by the Qatar Chamber in the attendance of 30 representatives of Kyrgyz companies covering fields of exporting, foodstuffs, mineral water, agriculture, tourism, and construction.
The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Alymbek Orozbekov, representative of the Agency for Investment Promotion and Export Promotion under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Republic in the presence of Nurlan Aripov, Head of the Export promotion department. QC board member Mohamed Al Obaidly and HE Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliev were also present.
For his part, Alymbek Orozbekov praised the Qatari renaissance at all sectors an in all economic spheres. He assured Qatar's ability to organize a very successful world tournament in 2022 which will be an achievement for all Islamic countries.
The delegation members are interested to know the available investment opportunities and to build real partnerships with Qataris, he noted. The Kyrgyz mission gave a presentation on the potentials their country enjoy and features of investment climate.
