Seoul - Yonhap
The number of employees at brokerage houses has fallen some 13 percent over the past three years as securities firms struggled to weather a prolonged industrywide slump by cutting costs, data showed Thursday.
The number of workers at 62 local securities firms stood at 37,773 at the end of June, compared with 43,495 three years earlier, according to the data compiled by the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA).
