Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabariti

President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabariti, on Monday, said the visit of a Mexican trade delegation to Jordan in September is "an important step" to strengthen economic and investment relations and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.

During a meeting with Deputy Head of Mission at Embassy of Mexico in Jordan, Abel Abarca Ayala, Kabariti said the Jordanian private sector, especially the trade one, is keen on promoting and developing economic relations between the two countries.

Jordanian Mexican relations, despite the geographical distance, "are close and can be developed in many economic fields," Kabariti added, noting that the Kingdom is the gateway for Mexican products to the Middle East countries, as Mexico is the gateway to Jordan for Latin America countries.

He pointed out that the Jordanian market constitutes the gateway for more than 1 billion consumers in the world, which investors and entrepreneurs could take advantage of.

Ayala expressed his country's keenness to cooperate with Jordan, by exchanging visits on a regular basis and boosting relations, noting that the Kingdom is Mexico's most important partner in the Middle East.
