The Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the German Development Bank signed three agreements worth €22 million in the field of water and wastewater management as a grant from the European Union.
Minister of Water and Irrigation Hazem Al Nasser, who signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry, underlined the efforts being made to acquire international aid and grants to carry out new projects.
These projects, he added, aim to raise the capacity of water and wastewater services provided to citizens in the northern regions which have been witnessing an influx of Syrian refugees.
