Japan\'s Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda said Thursday he will postpone his decision on whether to join negotiations for a Pacific free trade agreement until Friday, according to the local Kyodo News. The premier will hold a news conference on whether Japan will participate in the U.S.-led Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) talks on Friday, not on Thursday as originally scheduled. The reschedule was made amid strong opposition from within Noda\'s ruling party and the farm industry, according to Democratic Party of Japan\'s policy chief Seiji Maehara.
