Iranian and Qatari officials voiced their countries' willingness to reinvigorate Tehran-Doha ties in all sectors, particularly in economic and trade domains.
In a meeting between Iranian Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Qatari Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmad bin Jassim bin Mohammad al-Thani in Tehran, the two sides vowed to do their best to utilize entire abundant capacities to widen and deepen bilateral relations.
Nematzadeh said capacities of the two countries in different fields are abundant and efforts should be made to utilize them.
The Qatari minister, for his part, called for removal of bottlenecks and activating of the sides' private sectors to improve bilateral trade relations.
The Qatari Minister, accompanied by a delegation of businessmen and CEOs of Qatari companies, paid a two-day official visit to Tehran.
Both Iran and Qatar have recently augmented efforts to further expand ties and cooperation in all the different political, economic, defense, security and cultural fields.
The two Persian Gulf littoral states recently signed several protocols to increase mutual cooperation.
