Indian Ambassador to Egypt Navdeep Suri conferred with Menia Governor Salah Ziada and representatives of chambers of commerce in Menia on opportunities to expand economic cooperation and attract Indian investments especially into the metallurgical business.
They also discussed benefiting from India's successful experiment in the field of information technology.
The talks came during a seminar hosted by Menia after the inauguration of an India Day ceremony, a statement by the Indian embassy said Tuesday.
In his speech, Suri asserted the depth of political and economic ties between both countries.
