German exports rose to 102.3 billion euros (108.8 billion dollars)

German exports rose to 102.3 billion euros (108.8 billion dollars) in February, a 3.1-per-cent increase on the previous year, while imports also climbed 3.7 per cent, the Federal Statistics Office said Friday. 
In another month of results underscoring a stellar performance for German industry in 2017, industrial production rose 2.2 per cent in February compared to the previous month, according to Destatis. 
Europe's largest economy is going from strength to strength, with unemployment at its lowest level since German reunification in 1990.
