Interior Ministers from the \"The Group of Six (G6)\" European countries are meeting here Thursday to discuss border security and broader cooperation, security sources said here. The G6 is made up of Europe\'s most populous countries, namely Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Poland and Spain. The Interior Ministers plan to discuss, in particular, growing migration problems and a sharp 20 percent increase in the number of clandestine immigrants entering the European Union over the past months. Most of the increase in migratory flows comes from the southern borders of the EU and the passage through Greece from Turkey is seeing more and more traffic, sources indicated.Ongoing, and in some cases worsening, conflicts in the Middle East are raising concerns of more migration that would add to the already serious flows from Africa and North Africa in the past 10 months. The G6 is also to examine ways to enhance efforts to counter trafficking into the EU and will discuss other security issues.
