The Cabinet, under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, approved Wednesday a financial protocol between Egypt and France, which was signed on December 14, 2014.
Under the protocol, the French government will offer financial aid to Egypt, worth 344 million euros, to implement the Cairo third and fourth metro lines.
The Egyptian government will also contribute to funding this project.
