Investment Minister Ashraf Salman met on Tuesday with Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Li Genzaw in Beijing.
The meeting was attended by Egypt's Ambassador to China Magdy Amer, along with other Egyptian officials.
During the meeting, Salman stressed the Egyptian government's keenness to pave the way for Chinese investors to pump more investments into Egypt.
They also discussed a number of developmental projects, now established in Egypt, such as the new Suez Canal development project.
Salman noted that a program is underway to bring about financial stability and reduce risks in the Egyptian market.
