Egypt's Ambassador to China Magdi Amer took part in the first meeting of the personal representatives of the G20 presidents, which was held in Beijing, China, on January 13-15.

The meeting tackled a number of economic and financial issues, which will be discussed by the upcoming G20 summit, the Foreign Ministry said in a press statement on Monday.

Chinese President Xi Jinping had invited Egypt to be a guest of honor during the summit, to be held in September 2016, and all its preparatory meetings.
