Egypt is mulling cooperation with Japan in the local development domain, especially in the craft and small-sized industries.
In statements after meeting Japanese Ambassador here Takehiro Kagawa on Thursday, Local Development Minister Adel Labib expected that the coming period will witness more cooperation with Japan.
He also hoped that more Japanese investments will be pumped into the Egyptian market after the economic conference Egypt will host in March.
Talks tackled the development projects the government is carrying out in some Upper Egyptian governorates and the importance of engaging the civil society in them.
