South Korea and China have made progress in this week's free trade talks, China's commerce ministry said, adding that both nations will make major efforts to conclude the negotiations by the end of this year.
The sides started formal negotiations in May 2012 and wrapped up the 13th round of talks in Beijing on Friday. Negotiators from the two nations have been under pressure to reach a deal by the end of this year as agreed by the leaders of the countries in July.
