China\'s foreign trade increased by 7.8% on an annual basis in the month of July, according to official data issued here by the General Administration of Customs. This growth reflects a gradual recovery after the unexpected 3.1% fall in June, exports rose 5.1% year-on-year in July to US $185.99 Billion, while imports soared by 10.9 percent year-on-year, up US $168.17 Billion, compared with a 0.7 percent year-on-year drop in June. In July, China\'s general trade import and export was US $195.35 Billion, up 11.9%, of which exports were $97.38 Billion, up 9.1% and imports $97.97 Billion, an increase of 14.8%. General trade deficit was $590 Million, compared to a trade surplus $39.2 Billion.
