The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyed and BCCI's board of directors member Khalid Rashid Al-Zayani participated in the GCC-British Economic Forum (GBEF) in London organized by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in the presence of HRH Prince Andrew the Duke of York and several ministers, ambassadors, politicians, financiers, businesspersons and economists from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United Kingdom.
The BCCI's chairman also participated in the annual meeting of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce in London which discussed various issues and topics pertaining to intensification of cooperation between the Arab and British sides in order to achieve interests, exchange benefits, closer cooperation and coordination in various areas of bilateral economic cooperation and the role of the Arab-British Chamber in boosting the volume of economic commercial relations between Arab countries and Britain.
Al-Moayyed said that the Gulf-British mutual relations have seen a strong push in the previous period in view of the increasing solid growth of GCC economies attractive to foreign investments. He praised the strong historic commercial and investment relations between the Gulf countries and Britain, emphasising the keenness of the Bahraini private sector and the BCCI in developing and bolstering commercial and investment relations with Britain in the form which serves the economy of both countries.
