Algiers - APS
President of the National Economic and Social Council (CNES) Mohamed Seghir Babes chaired Wednesday in Athens the opening ceremony of an international conference under the theme “Social dialogue, industrial relations and civil dialogue: What solutions and what role for the AICESIS in changing societies,” said Thursday a communiqué of the Council.
During this ceremony, Babes, also honorary chairman of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS), was accompanied by Algeria’s ambassador to Greece Tedjini Salaouandji, said the source.
The works relating to social dialogue in the context of the industrial relaunch allowed the Algerian delegation, which chaired a thematic panel entitled “What are the recent changes in the systems of work organisation, management of companies and training,” to share its own experiences in terms of inclusive social dialogue and the involvement of different society’s players in the development process, particularly in the local environment, according to the communiqué.
On the sidelines of the conference, Babes and his Greek counterpart held discussions on “ways to strengthen the traditional cooperation between the two countries.”
In this prospect, the two officials signed a cooperation agreement which comes to “reflect their willingness to make from their respective institutions an exemplary framework which will give concrete expression to this cooperation.”
