An Australian trade delegation comprising representatives of more than 40 companies will visit Egypt on Sunday to promote trade cooperation, Australian Ambassador here Neil Hawkins said.
Australia is keen to support Egypt after during this phase following the formation of a new parliament and help it fulfill the needs of its market for food security, the ambassador said.
The delegation is expected to meet Egyptian officials and investors to seek investment opportunities, especially in the fields of agriculture, food industries, mining and education.
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Australia hit 650 million Australian dollars in the past year, according to Australian embassy statistics.
