Fifty-eight ships, with a total cargo of 3.5 million tons, transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday.

The south-bound convoy included 34 vessels carrying 1.7 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.

On the other hand, the north-bound convoy included 24 ships carrying 1.8 million tons.
