Forty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 2.374 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying 924,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 23 ships carrying 1.450 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
