Thirty-nine ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 2.6 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 20 vessels carrying around 1.2 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 19 ships carrying about 1.4 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
