The 2nd Emirates and Europe Economic Forum, organised by the Emirates & Europe Business Development Cluster, was launched in the Polish capital of Warsaw yesterday.
The country’s embassy in Warsaw participated as a sponsor of the Forum which aims to consolidate relations between the UAE and Europe in general, and with Poland in particular, especially in the economic field.
Dr. Youssef Issa Hassan Al Sabri, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Poland, thanked the organising cluster and the Polish government for its continuous co-operation.
Al Sabri highlighted the efforts made by the UAE embassy to strengthen and develop the friendly relations between the two countries in all fields, especially in the economic area, noting that the UAE is Poland’s biggest commercial partner in the region.
In a speech delivered on his behalf, Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Finance, stressed the desire of the Poland to consolidate its economic co-operation with the UAE, being a key strategic partner.
Aisha Al Kubaisi, Director of International Organisations Affairs in the Ministry of Economy, attended the Forum as the UAE representative on behalf of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy Al Kubaisi underscored the efforts made by the UAE to consolidate its partnership with Europe and intensify the exchange of knowledge and expertise, to the benefit of both parties.
